We carry out an elastomer risk assessment on parts removed from service via visual inspection, material characterization, and cleanability verification testing. This informs system specific risk-based analysis on the suitability of the elastomers to remain in service for longer periods of time. The output of the analysis defines the appropriate elastomer change out (ECO) frequencies and material suitability for each system.
At our facility, we have state-of-the-art equipment and cleanroom grade laboratories which are used to determine material and component suitability. Our capacity to forensically analyse removed elastomers allows us to carry out process and installation related material and component suitability issues.
Our methodology has extended elastomer lifetimes for our international clients across their global networks, with average interval extensions ranging from 100% to 250%.
