Field Service Technicians

Our client base includes every major biopharmaceutical manufacturer operating in Ireland. We were established to support biopharma maintenance and reliability operations across all phases of a site’s life cycle. By combining our expert areas of knowledge and cutting-edge facilities, we provide our clients with a turn-key package that enables them to reliably manage their critical assets onsite, maximising process integrity and minimising plant downtime.

 

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit experienced SCRI-IS Field Service Technicians. These are excellent opportunities to join an exciting and growing business where you will gain hands-on cGMP experience in a rewarding work environment, with unique access to and development in the biotechnology sector in Ireland. Career Change candidates with some cGMP/technical welcomed too.

The Roles:

Your role will be to both complete maintenance and record (in our dedicated software) ECO and Valve service activities of valves, diaphragms and gaskets, to exacting high quality standards, guaranteeing equipment integrity and reliability. This will be a combination of client site-based and SCRI-IS workshop-based activities. Due to the geographic location of our client base, any applicant should be prepared to travel within Ireland and may be required to stay near a customer’s site for a period of time (usually 1 week), the costs of which will be covered by SCRI-IS. Please note that these are full-time, demanding, and predominantly hands-on roles for which the successful candidates will be extensively trained and supported by senior members of the team.

Due to the geographic location of our client base, any applicant should be prepared to travel within Ireland and may be required to stay near a customer’s site for a period of time, the costs of which will be covered by SCRI-IS. Please note that these are full-time, demanding, and predominantly hands-on roles for which the successful candidates will be extensively trained and supported by senior members of the team.

The Role:

Due to continued growth, we are hiring an Accounts Assistant to support our team across multi-site locations. The function of the role? Essentially, a ‘SCRI-IS driving force’ in supporting the business in all aspects of upcoming work, including sales, purchasing, as well as supporting team members on various client sites thereby allowing them to deliver exceptional service.

 

This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and to gain knowledge of the biopharma industry, one of Ireland’s fastest growing sectors, gaining experience in procurement, health and safety requirements, and administration, all to the high standards of ISO 9001.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

  • Collaborating with our technical experts to determine a detailed cost estimate for projects.
  • Generating detailed quotes for a range of projects, whether small tasks or major initiatives.
  • Confirming job completion status with the field service team.
  • Issuing detailed invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy in billing and clarity in services provided.
  • Looking after new client set ups, ensuring accurate customer details and tax compliance is recorded.


Accounts Payable:

  • Submitting purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring all specifications and quantities meet project requirements.
  • Input purchase invoices onto the purchase ledger on our ERP system.
  • Looking after new supplier set ups, confirmation of new supplier bank details and changes to existing suppliers bank details.
  • Ensure invoice queries are dealt with promptly. This includes sending queries to other departments as required.
  • Managing company credit cards and reconciling same in line with company procedures.
  • Month end review.

 

Other:

  • Managing office communications, including monitoring and responding to emails with timely responses.
  • Other ad-hoc duties supporting the field service team as required.

The Role:

Due to continued exponential growth, SCRI-IS Technologies are hiring for an Engineering Planner to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is a technical Engineering Role within in our expanding team and will report directly into the senior management team within SCRI-IS.

As the Engineering Planner you will work with the various functions to establish and schedule our critical Engineering services into the Biotech and Pharma sector. The Engineering planner is responsible for ensuring that all Engineering and maintenance services are planned, scheduled, and tracked in an efficient and effective manner in order to deliver safe and reliable system availability and allow our clients to focus on producing lifesaving medicines for patients.

The planner will need to communicate and coordinate internally with our Operations, Health and Safety, Reliability and Site Services team and externally with our Biotech and Pharma clients across their Maintenance & Reliability departments, EHS and Project Engineering teams and will get exposure to wide range of critical functions and systems as part of their role.

 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all SCRI-IS managed Engineering services are effectively planned, scheduled and executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • System owner for the SCRI-IS work order management system. Manage work orders, documentation, resources, spares and assets within the SCRI-IS Work Order Management system.
  • Supporting pre work planning requirements such as Risk Assessment and Method statements (RAMS), training and staff competency reviews and client specific induction and training needs are up to date and in place ahead of any works.
  • Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules & long-term forecasts.
  • Lead weekly planning & scheduling meetings both internally & externally with clients
  • Work closely with other key personnel from operations and engineering teams to ensure resources are most effectively deployed each month.
  • Lead communication between SCRI-IS and client planning teams to ensure that clients receive a timely, efficient, and quality service.
  • Ensure strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP and environmental, health and safety regulations.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3rd level qualification preferably from Engineering/Project Management discipline and/or equivalent demonstrated experience, working in this capacity.
  • 1-2 years engineering/ technical experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven planning / project management experience
  • Ability to manage work requests from multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivated person with the ability to function within a team and alone equally well.
  • Demonstrated plant maintenance experience /understanding is preferred
  • Computer skills required include MS Office/ Excel/ Powerpoint/MS Teams.
  • Ability to easily travel within Ireland
  • Fluency in English & Approved Irish working permit
